We could never have appreciated what we were looking at without our guide. She was very good at explaining how the painters took into account their audience and how to view each piece. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing tour with Iker. He knows the Prado inside and out. He was thoughtful and went out of his way to make sure we had the very best experience.

Not a bad tour, but don't sign up for the tapas tasting. It's really far in another part of town. You must take a taxi or Uber to get there. So what's the point of the tapas tasting? Wish I had known the location prior to choosing that option.

We (four adults) booked a guided tour of the Prado. Irene, our guide, arrived at the meeting point a bit early as did we, and as there were no other participants, we set off right away. Irene was the ideal guide. She was very knowledgeable, kept track of us, spoke clearly and loud enough for us to hear her in sometimes noisy rooms, expertly guided us into rooms and spots where we could see what she wanted to point out, answered questions knowledgeably, and overall provided a top notch experience.

This was a very informative tour, our guide seemed to know a lot, but she had a very soft voice making it really hard for everyone on the tour to hear. She showed up late, did not give us time to look around the other pieces of art, and kept "Shhhh! – ing" everyone else in the museum. Those ear pieces could have really helped.

Wow… our tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable about the Prado, the Palace and all of the major highlights of Madrid! He was absolutely Exceptional!!! One of the most informative and thoroughly enjoyable tours I"ve ever taken! He even gave us an amazing walking tour filled with a full narrative of all of the areas between the prado and the palace! Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!! Our tour guide… he knew his facts about Madrid like an Encyclopedia!!

We travel around the world and have been with many tours. But this tour was completely waste of time. First we waste 45+ minutes before even start the tour because the three tour guides were not prepared and it was not even 50 people in total. We did not get to see lots art works at Prado museum, we also did not get to go the museum store either. We only see couple of the famous pcs that was it. Instead, the tour guide took us a long walk between the Royal Palace and Prado to introduce some of the historical site that we have been too since our hotel was in old town, we passed by Puerta del Sol but the guide has not show us the famous bear statue there, I am not from Madrid but I did read a lot about this city before I went there. Our guide wasted us lots time on walking because other group was late to meet at Royal Palace. So this tour end up took us whole day and we had to cancel our afternoon plan to see the other two museums. Do NOT book this tour! there is NOT line at Museum or Royal Palace. Don't be fool with the ad. saying to book tour to avoid lines.
