Our travel lady was very informative and going at the earlier time was exceptional—no crowds allowed for time to take in the special historical pieces. Well worth the money—well paced and informative.

The Spanish royal families built a palace to rival Versailles. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly well preserved. The cathedral is magnificent. Our guide was well informed and answered all questions well. Her English was excellent. We really enjoyed her for her charming ways as well as her presentation.

This was a great way to see the Palace early before it opens to the public and before it gets hot. Our tour guide was great, but the tour company put Spanish speaking and English speaking people in the same tour so he had to do the whole tour in both languages which doubled the length of time and made half the group sit and wait for the other language to finish in each room — Had this been a one language tour it would have been awesome!

We had an email confirmation. After waking up early to be there in time, they told us we were not book. They simply said to bad they could book us for the next day. They did not attempt to accommodate us in. We showed them the confirmation and nothing.

We learned the secrets of the enormous palace viewing about 30 of the 2,800 rooms. The palace has an abundance of masterpiece artwork, period décor, and architectural detail. Spanish history was imparted to us in an interesting way. Additionally, the Cathedral

Our guide Barbara was wonderful. So knowledgeable and a sense of humor Fascinating tour. So glad we did the early before the big crowds

Tour guide: I did not catch her name: nice blond lady. She was very good tour guide. Old city is nice, picturesque, full of history. City has so much to offer. Chocolate drink and Churo was nice touch. It was very educational and learned so much fact of Madrid which is capital of Spain. Royal Palace was just amazing. So much wealth and power showing from this building. Shame they don’t take picture inside. Amazing rooms so many of them, lost count. I recommend this tour.

This was an amazing tour! Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining us with stories. The first half of the tour was spent walking around Madrid, just basic places though but with a stop at a local chocolatería where we could have some churros and chocolate and a coffee no charge. Then we went to the palace where we got a new guide who took us inside the palace which was breathtaking and absolutely beautiful. It’s a very simple tour yet you get to see so much

The best way I can describe this tour was on our last night, we all went around the table at dinner and named our favorite part of the vacation. This Tour and our guide Aranxta were everyone’s favorite. She was absolutely the best guide and made this tour what it was! I cannot say enough great things about her and Julia Travel.
