An absolute must-see if you are looking to hit the highlights of Zaragoza. You will find this Zaragoza museum located near the Pilar and is well marked in the centre of the Plaza de Pilar!

This famous renaissance mansion is where you will find the magnificent paintings and prints by Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), as well as some other well-known Spanish artists. Over time the museum received donations of many great pieces by other amazing Spanish artists. Today it is famous for representing all of Spain’s artistic creativity!

The incredible Spanish painter, Goya, specifically strove to capture the human experience in new and different ways, not shying away from very dark themes – As you will notice when walking through this mansion of artworks!

On the top floor of this museum, you will find Goya’s political prints/etchings which were the highlight of your visit may very well be waiting for you.

When it comes to this historical place, your tour of Zaragoza would not be complete without making your way over to the Goya museum!

Zaragoza is a city located in Northern Spain. This city was built on the two banks of the Ebre river and preserves many remains of all the civilizations that followed one another in this beautiful region.

In the city center is baroque Nuestra Señora del Pilar basilica, a famous pilgrimage site, home to a shrine to the Virgin Mary and multiple domes. Zaragoza is also jam packed with museums, and makes for an absolutely amazing last stop on the Sightseeing Tour of Andalusia & Catalonia. As well as an extremely popular day trip destination from Madrid and Barcelona!

So if you’re planning a trip from Zaragoza to Barcelona, or in fact anywhere to/from Zaragoza train station, then you’ve landed at the right spot!

Zaragoza–Delicias Station

This is the railway station located in the city of Zaragoza, and is connected by high-speed train (AVE) to Madrid, it’s approximately 1 hour 20 minutes travel time from Madrid to Zaragoza.

This railway station is also connected by the AVE to: Guadalajara Yebes, Calatayud, Tardienta, Lleida, Huesca, Barcelona and Camp de Tarragona.

The Malaga-Barcelona and Barcelona-Seville AVE lines also make a stop in Zaragoza!
